The 8370E needed less than 1.3v to reach 4.4 on the Sabertooth, although LLC helped compared to the other board. However, it went all the way to 1.38v without stability issues nor major effort on my part. It was impossible to cool, but not the core temps themselves: the socket got too hot because the VRMs were going towards 100C and beyond.

I have yet to swap the CPUs to see what happens, but at least according to one of my motherboards the stock voltage for the 9370 is 1.54, which is just insane.

You need good power delivery, and good BIOS setting. However, I must warn you: motherboard VRMs are an issue.

Under load outside stress tests they run cooler, so no problem. A Cooler Master V10 (the whole TEC thing sounds sophisticated but it doesn't have a stellar record against pure air coolers)

I successfully cool them in stress tests with: I have an FX-9370 and an 8370E overclocked to 4.4GHz (the stock base clock for 9370). Wanna say something like the NH-D15 would be ok at stock?
